QUICA MEETS BABY
Meeting new family members is, needless to say, a very special event. Let it be grandparents meeting their niece/nephew or a little girl meeting her new sibling, these events are all so cute. Turns out, animals get excited to meet new family members as well. Check out Quica the Chihuahua.
A family from Dublin, Ireland had a newborn just recently and all the family members couldn’t wait to meet the son whose name is Nicholas. One particular member however was the most excited of all. Quica, the Chihuahua ran immediately to the dad’s arms as soon as he brought little Nicholas home. He immediately rolled into his back, super delighted by the looks of it.
People have said that this is perhaps just a demand from Quica to get a belly rub but his Nicholas mother disagrees. She said that while she was pregnant, the dog was super protective of her bump. Whenever her husband tried to rub her belly, Quica would immediately snap and become over protective. She said they were impressed by Quica’s reaction when he met the newborn, showing immediate obedience to Nicholas and remarkable mother instincts. Even now apparently Quica guards the newborn’s crib, wiggling his tail from time to time eagerly as he is standing guard.
The footage is way too adorable. It is clear Quica is super protective of him. So cute!
